Byward Market

1894 versus 2013
The Byward Market is bounded south by Rideau Street, east by King-Edward Avenue and by the Ottawa River on the north and west side.

The department of foreign affairs, the widening of King-Edward Avenue to accommodate highway 5 on the Quebec side were the biggest changes in the north end of the Byward Market.
