This postcard shows the Rideau Street and Waller Street intersection when the convent was still up. We can also see the rails of the streetcar that were once on Rideau Street.One thing is sure, intensification was promoted in that area of downtown....

The public library is still where it used to be, but its envelop drastically changed from what it used to be.The former YMCA, on the left-hand side, has been converted into an hotel....
