The convent was demolished in 1972.  The chapel has been saved and restored the National Gallery of Canada.

The convent was much nicer, but it was originally demolished for a giant parking lot that we had from the '70s up until this condo building.

The convent was a gem & to demolish it was criminal. It was replaced by the ugliest 2 storey commercial strip mall that had the Hayloft restaurant on the 2nd level. I remember walking by the convent never realizing at the time that developers would replace it with a building that had no architecural value or esthetics. It has since been replaced by condos.
