I cannot believe that the city destroyed this building just to have it be a boarded off unfinished lot.

Looking through all these pictures in comparison makes me wish to have lived 50 or 80 or a 100 years ago; the city seemed so much more alive and vibrant than it is today. Ottawa is still a beautiful city, but seeing these pictures really shows how many gorgeous buildings and structures have been demolished only to be replaced by empty spaces.
