Located on one of the busiest intersection in Ottawa, the Transportation building almost remained unchanged; only its ground floor was modified and became one of the main entrance to the Rideau Centre.

Despite the Rideau-Sussex intersection being the busiest intersection in Ottawa, you can see that the sidewalk size was reduced, especially closer to the intersection (right-hand side) probably to make room for the road median.
